Are animated AVIF and HDR supported?
This tool is designed for still images and produces 8-bit output. Animated AVIF is rejected. HDR and wide-gamut color fidelity is not preserved; use a dedicated color-managed editor when those details matter.
Why is my converted file larger?
AVIF is an efficient compressed format. PNG is lossless and often takes more space. JPG or WEBP can reduce output size, but lossy conversion can change image detail.
