A few quick checks solve most conversion problems.

My image will not convert

Check that it is a real still AVIF image, not a renamed JPG, an animation or a damaged download. Use files under 20 MB and images under 16 megapixels. Try a current browser and a smaller image if your device runs out of memory.

My download is missing

Check your browser's Downloads list or your phone's Files app. On mobile, the browser may offer a save or share action for the downloaded file.

I need a different format

Use PNG for transparent output, JPG for familiar photograph workflows or WEBP for compatible web workflows.

Keep your original files

Save your source AVIF images until you have checked the downloaded results. Conversion creates new files and does not replace the originals on your device.
